TIRANA, Aug 21 /ATA/- As of earlier this year, approximately 85,000 TEU containers have been handled at the container terminal in Durres port, or 5,700 TEU containers more than January-July 2018 – the Statistics Sector close to Durres Port Authority reports.
Statistics also show that in the first 7 months of this year, as many as 113 specialized ships were handled in the quays of the respective Terminal. Although it is the same number of vessels compared to last year, the number of TEU containers, as well as the quantity of sea freight have increased significantly – statistical sources add.
During January-July 2019 the volume of containerized freight in the port of Durres exceeded 1 million tons.
