TIRANA, August 19/ATA/-The annual rate measured by Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices in July 2019 is 1.4 % or below the average increase of prices in the EU which on the same month amounted to 1.5%
The most increase of the prices was noticed in the “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 2.9 %, followed by “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” group by 2.2 %, “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco” by 1.2 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” by 0.7 %, “Clothing and footwear” by 0.5 %, “Health” by 0.3 %, “Furniture household goods and maintenance” and “Education service” by 0.2 % each of them, “Communication” and “Miscellaneous good and services” by 0.1 % each of them.
Meanwhile, prices of “Recreation and culture” group are decreased by 1.2 %, followed by “Transport” group by 0.4 %./e.xh/j.p/p.s./
