TIRANA, August 17/ATA/- The alpine scenery, the fresh air, the tranquility of the lake as well as the opportunity to explore the hills in the northern city of Puka are a weekend suggestion to leave behind the tiring days of work and regain new energy.
The Albanian Development Fund through investments of the Albanian Government and the Council of Europe Bank is developing the second phase of the project “Urban Re-qualification in the Municipality of Puka”.
To be in service of the community and to promote sustainable development, the works envisage: the reconstruction of the linking roads, the plastering of the façades of the apartment blocks around the town’s square, strengthening of the protection line of the small lake and other additional interventions in the park in front of the former Tourism Hotel.
This alpine town carries all the tourist options to welcome local and foreign visitors.
Located in Northern Albania, Puka offers an environment where mountains intersect with deep valleys, lawns and meadows intersect by numerous rivers and streams, clear water springs fed by snow that often bleach through the summer.
