TIRANA, Aug 5 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Burrel-Klos road segment is nearing completion, Albanian Road Authority director general Sonila Qato said Monday while inspecting the works on this road segment.
Qato said: I saw first- hand the works on road segment Burrel-Klos 18,6 km long, an important junction for economy of the country.
At present, along a length of 16.2 kilometers to the city of Burrel, the surface layer and installation of guardrails have been completed. ”
Qato added that thanks to intensive works the road segment will be completed within a short time up to the standards to open to road traffic.
Investment on Burrel-Klos road was funded in the framework of road maintenance program worth EUR 3,7 mln and is slated to complete ahead of schedule.
The road segment Klos-Burrel serves several municipalities and is part of the national axis Milot-Peshkopi.
