TIRANA, August 4/ATA/- 108 unregistered businesses were blocked in context of the operation against informality which began with intensive controls on the ground during the period 1-31 July 2019.
Further on, the tax authorities have issued 195 penalties and temporarily blocked 15 premises for failure to issue the tax receipt.
92 subjects were penalized for undeclared employees while 68 subjects had problems with the fiscal cash register.
82 businesses were penalized for trading goods without any tax documentation and 30 cases were referred to the prosecutor’s office.
The motto of the action undertaken recently throughout the territory is “Stop informality”.
Prime Minister Edi Rama pledged earlier that the crackdown on informality will not stop, as it is not a campaign, but a daily battle until the end of the mandate./k.s/p.s./
