TIRANA, Aug 1 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – The Council of Ministers approved Thursday the allocation of initial budget for the special structure against corruption and organized crime, SPAK.
At yesterday’s meeting, the Council of Ministers, in pursuit of Article 100 of the Constitution, and the law on organization and functioning of institutions to combat corruption and organized crime, at the proposal of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Finance and Economy decided to allocated to the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime for 2019 an initial budget of ALL 150,000,000 (one hundred and fifty million), to cover the costs pertaining to the exercise of activity during 2019.
In addition, the Council of Ministers decided that the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime and the Ministry of Finance and Economy will be charged with following the procedures for executing this decision.
