TIRANA, July 27 /ATA/ – The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth informed university students on Saturday that the Albanian government will continue to fuel considerable funding into the higher education and provide subsidies on tuition fees during the upcoming academic year.
The tuition fees will remain unchanged in the 2019-2020 academic year, but the government will continue to provide subsidies in order to help Albanian students as part of its commitments under the Pact for University.
The government has already earmarked a financial package of 2.3 billion, benefiting more than 99 000 university students.
The Ministry of Education said that the Pact on University is on the right track, including projects to transform the dormitory and university campus infrastructure, and the issuance of the student card.
