TIRANA, July 22 /ATA/ – During his stay in the region of Vlora to see first -hand the measures taken for handling the situation during the tourist season, Minister of Interior Sandër Lleshaj accompanied by Prefect and directors of border police inspected the coastal stretch from Himara to Dhërmi.
The minister warned that during this week all the relevant structures will engage in an operation to free the areas that have been occupied by private entities and in turn put an end to impunity.
“Unless normalcy is restored within this week meaning the businesses sign contracts with local governments, the persons who have not exercised their responsibility will face office abuse charges,” Lleshaj said.
The police structures and law-enforcement agencies were assigned the task of monitoring the measures to increase security in coastal areas and improve the quality of service provision.
