TIRANA, July 19 /ATA/ – “Ramush Haradinaj resigned his post as Prime Minister of Kosovo as a true statesman,” Albania’s Minister of State for Diaspora Pandeli Majko said after Kosovo PM Haradinaj announced his resignation on Friday, saying he has been summoned to give an interview to the Kosovo Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.
Majko said “Haradinaj committed an action that honours the state of Kosovo that is governed by statesmen who know to distinguish their own personal fate from that of the national security.”
“A man’s deeds are more valuable than his weakness. I support Ramush today! Thank you commander for setting a war and a peacetime example,” Majko said.
Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj announced his irrevocable resignation from the post at a press conference today.
