TIRANA, July 16 / ATA/ Implementation of operational plan against informality has started. The priority of this operation will be tax receipt, illegal labor and issuance of invoices.
“Today we have identified two businesses which are success stories for their compliance with the law on tax liabilities. During my visit I expressed my commitment that I will be on the side of all law-abiding businesses, fighting against unfair competition which is detrimental to them,” Minister of Economy and Finance, Anila Denaj, said.
The tax administration is on the field to monitor the situation based on risk analysis, however no law-abiding subject has reasons to get concerned. The operational plan is launched in the light of a clampdown on informality and as PM said the repercussions for businesses that defy the law will be more costly as compared to their tax liabilities.
