TIRANA, July 6 /ATA/ – A deployed father surprised his daughter upon his return from the international peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
Leonard Hida, a soldier deployed as part of Albanian mission in Afghanistan, returned back home Saturday after serving six months in Afghanistan in a NATO-led peacekeeping mission.
When the little girl runs to fetch the ball while playing with her mother, Hida came out surprising his daughter, who rushed into her father’s arms as soon as she saw him.
Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka posted the video showing the emotional meeting of the peacekeeper with his daughter.
“There could be no greater emotion than meeting this little cutie upon return from Afghanistan. After serving six months in Herat, corporal Leonard Hida from B2K peacekeeping group returns to his own small family and the extended family of the Armed Forces,” Xhaçka wrote.
