TIRANA, July 5 /ATA/- The third segment of the Tirana New Boulevard has been already completed, paving the way for the final square project, the Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama stated Friday on his official page while sharing photos of the finalized project.
The new ecological boulevard in Tirana, has provided the opportunity for the establishment of a new traffic unit coming to the aid of all inhabitants of the Administrative Units no. 4, 8 and 9.
Part of this project is the construction of a new central park, green spaces and the city’s attractions.
Also, Tirana has made significant progress in advancing a series of successful initiatives, including cleaning and greening projects, construction of the water supply network, planting 250 thousand trees out of a 2 million target until 2030, the construction of 40 km of bicycle-dedicated lanes, construction of the city’s car-free centre, and construction of 46 children’s playgrounds.//a.i/
