TIRANA, July 5/ATA/- Minister of Finances and Economy Anila Denaj and European Investment Bank (EIB) Director-General Luca Lazzaroli signed today a funding agreement in Poznan, Poland, worth 10.4 million Euros to ensure continuity of some important infrastructure projects in the city of Tirana.
Minister Denaj said that the funding agreement supports implementation of the project “Continuation of Boulevard Gjergj Fishta and Bajram Curri as well as the Lana River Rehabilitation”
“The project, which will be implemented by the Municipality of Tirana until February 2022, foresees works on the Lana River bed by creating an efficient system that will eliminate the flood problem in the area. It aims at creating the necessary space for the urban development of the area through construction of all the necessary infrastructure, which is aimed at attracting domestic and foreign investors “, said Denaj, who is participating in the meeting of the Ministers of Economy of the Western Balkans, which is being held in Poznan, Poland. /e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
