TIRANA, July 2/ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama demanded today from the State Police to go in action to identify, stop and penalize every subject or individual involved in illegal construction activity in the urban space and during which the public property or every other strategic zone of development, including the coastal area, is damaged.
The prime minister referred especially to the situation along the coastal area and emphasized that, “During this period there were noticed negative signs of re-activating of the illegal activity”.
The prime minister emphasized that the illegal activity in the field of constructions is an object of the work of the police, too.
The prime minister appreciated the progress made with territory control, but added that he would like to see an escalation of these efforts the same like with the offensive against the cannabis.
The prime minister concluded by saying that Albania has suffered from the erosive phenomenon of illegal constructions./p.s./
