TIRANA, June 25/ATA/- The EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca held Tuesday a meeting with the Chairman of the High Prosecutorial Council (HPC), Gent Ibrahimi in the light of the final stages of Council’s work on selection of candidates for Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).
“The Chairman of the High Prosecutorial Council (HPC), Gent Ibrahimi updated me today on final stages of Council’s work on selection of candidates for Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) in the context of justice reform,”Soreca said.
According to the EU Ambassador Soreca,”it is crucial that Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) become operational as soon as possible, to further enhance ability of Albania to fight corruption and organized crime.”//a.i/
