TIRANA, June 24/ATA/-Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj promised today to build more nurseries and kindergartens if elected for a second mandate at June 30 municipal elections.
Speaking at a meeting with donors, business representatives and groups of interest, Veliaj said that he is going to realize this in cooperation with the builders.
According to Veliaj, the builders are going to transfer to the municipality any piece of land beyond the 45% exploitation coefficient that will be left undeveloped.
Veliaj argued that it would be beneficial to the builders because on the one hand they will avoid problems with the part of land left unexploited and on the other hand increase the value of the object because an apartment would be more favorable if there was a nursery or kindergarten nearby. /a.g/p.s./
