Greek minority, a cultural asset, linking bridge between two countries

TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/-By Gjergji Mima/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama described Albania’s Greek minority as a cultural asset and a bridge between the two countries.

Addressing an electoral meeting in Finiq, Rama said that no previous Prime Minister or government has ever done more for the ethnic minorities in the country. The government head noted that the territorial administrative reform has provided the minority to be represented and govern two municipalities.

“We have delivered on the territorial reform, granting the minority the opportunity to be represented and govern two municipalities that, despite being out of standards in terms of population size and other parameters of territorial reform, are considered cultural assets of this country, since the minority is cultural heritage, bridge between the countries,” Rama stated.
