TIRANA, June 19 /ATA/-The police in the Northern Albanian city of Tropoja detained 7 persons for damaging electoral material while 5 others are being proceeded in a free condition.
According to police report, 7 persons were detained in the act while damaging the election materials at the Commission of the Electoral Administration Zone (CEAZ) No 09 in Tropoja Municipality on Tuesday.
The police also reported that 5 others are being proceeded in a free condition being under the penal offence of organization and participation in illegal manifestations against the June 30 municipal elections.
Six other persons have been declared wanted for property damage.
All evidence was taken to Tropoja Prosecution Office for further investigation./p.s./
