TIRANA, June 19/ATA/- Employment in the construction sector got increased by 2.7% in the first quarter of 2019.
The growing trend of construction sector reflects the investment programme that the government is implementing for revitalization of the country’s infrastructure and development that the economy is assuming.
According to the Institute of Statistics, INSTAT, the construction sector has continued growth recording positive figures in sales, production and the number of the people employed.
Thus, the sales marked an increase of 4.4% as compared with the same period last year, production marked an increase of 3% as compared with the same period last year, the number of the people employed marked an increase of 2.7% as compared with the same period last year and the salary fund marked a 1% increase as compared with the same period last year, reported INSTAT. /e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
