TIRANA, June 16 /ATA/- “To us, everyone should be equal to justice, that’s why we have been and will be the only proponents and guardians of justice reform,” PM Edi Rama stated on Saturday from the city of Pogradec.
In his remarks to the electoral rally in the city of Pogradec over June 30 elections, PM Rama said that the wiretapped conversation came out of the box to be used for political gains rather than serve the justice to prove the links and find the perpetrators. The notorious prosecutor known as the servant of Berisha family instead of launching a probe and refer the evidence to court to bring charges against anyone involved, chose to share the information with certain people.”
“They open the suitcase to leak the wiretapped conversations to Germany and deceive the people into thinking these are Germany’s revelations. How come Germany discloses information leaked from investigations conducted here, classified information leaked from here instead of investigating them in the interest of justice,” Rama said.
PM went on saying that the justice has been an extension of the political power, of their personal, family and political interests, it has never been a functioning tool on the path to state building.
