TIRANA, June 15 /ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama said during a meeting with local people of Devoll that, “We have not separated the municipalities into left-wing and right-wing municipalities and we have undertaken projects of transformation in your area. But, together with the candidate of the Socialist Party running for mayor in the June 30 municipal elections we shall take things forward”.
The prime minister said that it is high time to be together for one goal beyond divisions and quarrels that have been to the benefit of our opponents and to the detriment of Devoll.
June 30 elections will elect the mayors, but they will also eliminate an obstruction that hampers Albania’s breathing.
The prime minister explained that the opposition leaders and the president are afraid of justice reform and are attempting to hamper Albania’s opening of EU accession negotiations that begin precisely with the chapters of justice.
But, the opposition attempts against the elections and Albania will fail with shame, concluded the prime minister./e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
