TIRANA, June 13/ATA/-The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha reacted to Tirana Prosecution Office investigation into the affair of DP 650 thousand USD payment to lobbying firms in US.
Basha said that the investigation was a political affair created without evidence and without any fact.
“To draw the attention away from the political crisis and scandals of collaboration with the world of crime about stealing the elections, Prime Minister Edi Rama has decided to fabricate absurd accusations to distract the attention of the public opinion”, said Basha.
The Prosecution Office of Tirana summoned today the Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha to appear before the prosecutors together with the former lawmakers Arben Ristani and Ilir Dervishi
Basha is under investigation in context of File 645 about payments made by the Democratic Party in the 2017 election campaign to lobbying firms in the US./j.p/p.s./
