TIRANA, June 12 /ATA/- Construction and building material machineries are the top ten most imported goods, in the first quarter of 2019, Albanian General Directorate of Customs stated.
The Albanian General Directorate of Customs reported Wednesday that, in the first three months of this year there has been a significant increase in some commodity groups showing a tendency development in some types of foreign direct investments, FDI and domestic manufacturing industry.
According to Albanian Customs official data, in the first quarter of 2019, there have been collected 351 million ALL from the clearance of new vehicles, or accounting for 0.9% of total customs revenue.
While, the revenues collected from imports of construction materials, clothing, plastics, and cleaning products reached 351 million ALL.
Albanian Customs stated that, “revenues from construction materials accounted for 677 million ALL, while revenues collected from household electronic appliances and cleaning products (detergents) accounted for 563 million ALL and about 693 million ALL, respectively.” //a.i/
