TIRANA, June 10 /ATA/ – The gross average monthly salary per employee, in the first three months of 2019, was 51.531 lek, a 4.9% increase compared with the same period of the previous year.
According to the official data of the Bank of Albania, BoA during the first quarter of 2019, the gross average monthly salary has increased in the sectors of banking, telecommunications, arts, entertainment and recreation.
The average worker’s salary in banking and insurance services was 101.7 thousand lek.
The second most paid sector is the information and communications technology ICT, with an average salary of about 76 thousand lek, showing a slight decrease compared with the last quarter of previous year.
According to BoA, during the first quarter of 2019, the gross average monthly salary in arts, entertainment and recreation sectors, as well as other service activities, saw the highest increase of 16.3%, compared with the same quarter of previous year.//a.i/
