TIRANA, June 10 /ATA/- The Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights, chaired by Ulsi Manja, approved Monday article by article and in principle the draft law “On some amendments and additions to law no. 7895, dated 27.01.1995, “Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania”, as amended “with the proposed amendments by a group of lawmakers.
In attendance at the meeting were; experts of the EURALIUS, Ministry of Justice, General Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Animal Rescue Albania association, ARSA, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and People’s Advocate.
The Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights reviewed today the two drafts, as part of the voters and lawmakers initiative for the protection of animals from abuse.
The two draft laws on the proposed amendments will be integrated into one, before being submitted to the Parliament for approval.//a.i/
