TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/-The capital will never accept to be subject of violence.
Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj made the statement while presenting today the candidates for counselors who will be his team at the municipal council of the city after June 30 local elections.
Veliaj was referring to the opposition protest on Sunday and said that violence, destruction and pollution will not become a common thing in this city. He said that, “Tirana is for work and abhors violence”.
He accused the opposition of failing to convince people, hence it resorts to violence.
