TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/-There has been an influx of visitors during the tourist season at the venues of the iconographic Onufri Museum and the Ethnographic Museum in Berat.
According to indicators, the number of visitors is higher in 2019 as compared with the tourist season last year.
The two museums have been the favorite destination of Albanian and foreign visitors who have included the two museums in their tourist package.
In May 2019 there were about 10615 visitors, 1731 or 20% more visitors than the same period in 2018, realizing 1,336,420 ALL, i.e. 232,720 or 21% more than the same period of 2018.
While for January-May 2019 there were 20668 visitors, 5005 or 32% more visitors than the same period of 2019, realizing 2,677,860 ALL i.e. 615,580 or 30% more than the same period of 2018.
The foreign tourists visiting Berat museums are German, English, Slovak, Italian, Dutch, American and Spanish./a.a/ /a.g/p.s./
