TIRANA, June 1 /ATA/-By Gjergji Mima/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated at a campaign event in Tirana on Saturday that the June 30 local elections will “pit the ruling Socialist Party in an historical battle against the election adversaries.”
“What we are launching today is not an election campaign without rivals, but a big historical battle against the election adversaries,” PM Rama said in his speech at the official opening of the Socialist Party’s June 30th local elections campaign.
“This is a battle to put an end to a dirty, heinous and treacherous ways of politics once and for all. We will put an end to a politics that plays with the people, ignores law and the rules and violates universal rules of democracy and democratic coexistence,” Rama stated.
