Infringement of elections, PM Rama: Don’t play with fire

TIRANA, June 1 /ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama warned in the speech he delivered at the official opening of the Socialist Party electoral campaign for the local elections of June 30 that he will seek the vote of no one who doesn’t want to take part in elections.

“We shall seek the vote of no one who doesn’t wish to take part in the elections, but we shall explain to everybody that to stand against the elections is to stand against the law and the right of vote and that no one can violate this right to the Albanian citizens”, said he.

“We have not chosen to govern by force, but by example and we shall do so up to the end. Who thinks to fish in troubled waters, plays with the fire”, emphasized PM Rama.

The prime minister warned that those who commit electoral crime will lose not only their freedom in Albania, but even the freedom of travelling to the USA or entering the EU.

“I believe that June 30 elections will be the day when many of those who go on party protest will refuse to become cannon fodder of those who are afraid of elections. /j.p/p.s./
