TIRANA, May 27 ATA/ – The Chairman of the Socialist Parliamentary group , Taulant Balla accompanied by the MP Musa Ulqini and Mayor of Belshi, Arif Tafani, inspected the works of the third phase of the Belshi Urban Revival Project, which foresees the constyruction of promenade and bike lane beside the Belshi Lake, in Elbasan as well as recreational spaces, aiming at promoting of agro-tourism in this area.
In his speech, Balla said that,” Belshi has become an important tourist destination, and the Albanian government is making a large investment worth ALL 1.3 billion, The project envisions the reconstruction of the town’s access road, along with the construction of sidewalks, lighting, greenery, sewerage, and traffic signs.”
“Also, the investment includes the expansion of the bike lane and promenade along the Lake of Belshi with a length of 1.4 km, parking spaces for various tourists, benches, lighting, greenery surfaces, two soccer/basketball and tennis fields, an amphitheater with green terraces, creative squares, an illuminated carousel, two quays at the lake, kids playgrounds, a service building, and the development of two imported sandy beaches,” he concluded.//a.i/
