TIRANA, May 21 /ATA/-On Wednesday, the regional council of Gjirokastra in cooperation with the archaeological park Antigone/Adrianopol organized the event “Our ornaments” in context of opening of the tourist season 2019.
Attending the event was lawmaker of Gjirokastra region Mirela Kumbaro, the candidate running for Gjirokastra mayor Flamur Golemi, Head of Regional Council Armand Hila, local leaders and Prefect Astrit Aliaj.
The event is becoming traditional while aiming at promotion of the values of the cultural heritage in the region.
The event consisted of several artistic activities like parades of traditional costumes of Gjirokastra region, exhibition of artisan works, concerts of polyphonic songs and dances performed by different ensembles of the zone of Gjirokastra, Përmet, Tepelena, Libohova, Dropull and Delvina. /m.z/j.p/p.s./
