TIRANA, May 21 /ATA/ – In the follow-up to demands of students which have been incorporated in Pact for University, review of PhDs is another issue prioritized by Albanian govt.
With regard to anti-plagiarism control of doctoral dissertations for obtaining scientific degrees, a decision taken on December 26, 2018, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth announces that it is in constant touch with the Higher Education Institutions for making an inventory of PhDs issued by public and private universities in the country.
According to reports, the number of doctoral degrees issued from 1980 until 2019 is 2669.
In conjunction with National Agency for Information Society( AKSHI), the dissertations will be digitized to be administered by AKSHI.
