TIRANA, May 14/ATA/-The Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) has improved this current year the management strategy guaranteeing an increase of the electricity production.
KESH representatives told ATA that the energy reserve is expected to increase up to 1160 GWh by the end of June 2019 guaranteeing energy supply in July and August when the cost of the energy import is higher.
Likewise, KESH provided all the necessary electricity to meet the needs of consumers over the period 10-17 May 2019 avoiding the electricity import.
KESH has estimated that only through the Hydropower station of Fierza, it will manage to generate about 29.000 MWh electricity more to meet the needs of the consumers which otherwise would be provided from import at a high price./p.s./
