TIRANA, May 8 /ATA/-The agricultural technology in line with development policies is the potential for the future of this sector and the rural community in our country, the General Director of Agricultural and Rural Development Agency, Frida Krifca stated Wednesday the international conference on agricultural mechanics, in Tirana.
In her speech, the General Director of Agricultural and Rural Development Agency, Frida Krifca stated that the implementation of new technologies in the rural sector aimed at providing high quality agricultural and livestock products ; production increase; a safer food supply chain as well as boosting confidence in this sector.
“In this context, the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (ARDA) is implementing the policies of the Albanian Government to improve this sector, to increase the competitiveness of agricultural products and their productivity, increase the level of exports and development of rural areas, “ Krifca stressed.
The total available budget is 50.33 million Euros, of which 37.74 million Euros are EU contribution, and 12.58 million Euro, a national contribution representing 25% of the total public contribution.//a.i/
