TIRANA, May 4 /ATA/ – As many as 3179 jobseekers across the country were employed through the assistance from the National Employment Service in April alone, the Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj said on Saturday.
During a visit to the regional Employment Service office in Shkodra, the Finance Minister put emphasis on the importance of the cooperation with the vocational training education schools and institutions in order to meet the labour market’s growing demand for qualified and skilled workforce.
“A more optimal coordination is needed in terms of the trade being taught in the vocational education schools and the business community demands for human resources in order to live up to the expectations of both sides,” Denaj said.
“Meanwhile, work to further upgrade the online employment services and the online platform “job.gov.al” is in its final stage and it will mark a significant step towards improving the National Employment Service’s performance and information on the labour market needs. This will be achieved through increased opportunities for information exchange, extending the communication network with other national databases,” Denaj noted.
