TIRANA, April 26/ATA/-Interior Minister Sandër Lleshaj said on Friday in Kukës that the gang that realized Rinas heist on April 9 is almost destroyed and there are expected new arrests.
Lleshaj said that the investigation is underway and that the police is working in cooperation with the foreign partners targeting to reach the persons being at large.
“The case is still under investigation and the work has continued very well. I cannot reveal details from the investigative file. But, I can say that the almost destroyed gang has a rather negative criminal record not only in Albania, but even in Greece and Kosovo”, said Lleshaj.
“There will certainly be other arrests because the gang is not destroyed completely while some of its members are at large”./j.p/p.s./
