TIRANA, April 18/ATA/-Minister of Culture Elva Margariti told the Parliament today that the Audiovisual Media Authority closing in September last year all piracy audio-visual, numerical, analogue and audio broadcasts is an achievement of the year 2018.
The minister argued that it was a concern over the last 20 years in all the urban centres.
She added that side by side with the drastic measures of the state for closing illegal broadcasts there are taken steps forward for copyright protection.
The Albanian citizens will benefit from these measures a quality media service while the authors will get the respective fees for their work.
Margariti added that struggle against television piracy should continue through following the EU legal amendments and the best practice of the field. /j.p/p.s./
