TIRANA, April 15 /ATA/- The target of General Directorate of Taxes is VAT refunding for business, which will facilitate the climate of doing business in Albania.
The General Directorate of Taxes (GDT) announces that its objective is to pay ALL 1.7 billion per month and push ahead with reimbursement plan. While roughly ALL 851 million is the liability that tax administration has to pay to exporters for VAT reimbursement, the total fund for 2019 is about ALL 19 billion.
On December 31, 2018, the delay in VAT reimbursement lasted up to 6 months, whereas now the General Tax Directorate has improved the situation reducing the time frames within the legal deadlines for VAT refunding.
