TIRANA, April 4/ATA/-After several hours of efforts the technicians of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit (EOD) managed to remove and transport an aviation shell used during the World War Two.
The shell had a weight of about 250 kg and was found in the village Frakull e Madhe.
It was a farmer from the village who found it while he was tilling the land.
Following request of Fier Prefecture, the Ministry of Defence sent to the ground the team of EOD technicians who followed safety regulation and enabled to transport the shell to the safe place beyond the residential areas where it will be dismantled./p.s./
