TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/- In domestic exchange market, on Tuesday, domestic currency Lek gained ground versus EUR and depreciated relative to USD.
According to exchange rates of BoA, US dollar gained ground by 0,29 lek going up to 111.73 lek and European currency depreciated by 0,09 lek going up to 125.21 lek.
According to the Bank of Albania, the fluctuations in foreign exchange market are within the expectations.
BoA’s expectations are that, with the approach of summer and the increasing influx of tourists and migrants, domestic currency Lek will gain ground versus other major currencies and especially euro.
