TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/- The working groups made up of relevant experts established in light of the order of Minister of Infrastructure and Energy are conducting the process of scanning HPPs on and off site.
Through the scanning form, the HPP scanning teams have provided detailed information on the contractual and legal compliance of companies operating in the hydro power sector.
In total, the official number of HPPs that has been submitted to MIE is about 89. The scanning process is ongoing.
The National Agency for Human Resources (AKBN) states that pursuant to the Order of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy “On verification of compliance with the terms of concession contracts and contracts subject to the Council of Ministers decision on hydro power sources,” based on the Order “On establishment of working groups that will perform the scanning of HPPs subject to concessions or not,” and pursuant to the Order of the Executive Director, the HPP Monitoring Directorate, the Experts Groups of the line since 30.01.2019 have engaged in the process of scanning the HPPs on the ground.
