TIRANA, March 1/ATA/-Justice Minister Etilda Gjonaj said during a conversation with students and lecturers at the Center for Openness and Dialogue, the COD Centre, that scientific research can be exploited to improve Albanian legislation.
During the meeting held in context of the government Pact with the University, Gjonaj emphasized that professional people are required even for the scientific research.
“We need professionalism and scientific research. The ministries find it difficult to conduct research with the capacities they have. So, why don’t we exploit the scientific research conducted by the university teachers in cooperation with the students and make it worthy for the ministry and all the legal initiatives we take”, emphasized Gjonaj.
The minister spoke also about the 44 excellent students on internships at the Ministry of Justice and affiliated institutions and who will get the proper experience to continue their journey in the field of justice.
“The employment of the excellent students for one-year period at the Ministry of Justice and the affiliated institutions is a good opportunity for them to get a taste of the work at the Ministry and make a contribution later to the School of Magistrates or other fields”, emphasized Gjonaj. /e.caushi/p.s./
