TIRANA, March 27/ATA/-Albania’s Ministry of Agriculture and the embassy of the Netherlands to Albania organized a joint working meeting on the role of technology and innovation in agriculture.
“The application of new technology in the agri-business is an indispensability to increase production and reduce costs”, said Minister of Agriculture Bledi Çuçi during the meeting.
According to him, the farmers can get online consultancy on different matters through downloading certain applications in the mobile phone or computer.
On her part, ambassador of the Netherlands Guusje Korthals Altes said that Albania has a lot to learn from the Netherlands and other more developed countries.
She said that the Netherlands considers with priority support for the farmers through the digital technology, hence, cooperation would be welcome. /e.xh/ /a.g/p.s./
