TIRANA, March 26 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ – “The SP has naturally demonstrated the supporting majority. The SP congress touched upon an array of issues included in current agenda of SP such as: education and employment of youths, electoral reform as well as “Municipality we want,” Milva Ekonomi said in a televised interview.
The SP MP, Milva Ekonomi, said that the March 23 congress launched in last year’s assembly is inextricably linked with another electoral event, election of new mayors in Albania. The latter coincides with the SP initiative “Municipality we Want,” with PM Rama stopping over to different municipalities to promote the socialist candidates in the background of several activities.
This time the congress was combined with this tour. The SP Congress went hand in hand with the activity “Municipality we want.”
When asked whether the SP demonstrated its force, Ekonomi said it was not a demonstration of force as long as in attendance were many individuals who had willingly come to Tirana along with their family members.
“On top of all, the demonstration of force comes natural as long as the SP has won an overwhelming majority of votes,” Ekonomi said pointing out that the SP enjoys the support of Albania’s majority.
