TIRANA, March 19/ATA/-Durrës Port is Albania’s one of main gateways as 40% of the goods move through this port.
Interior Minister Sandër Lleshaj held on Tuesday a work analysis meeting with Durrës Port authorities to highlight the need of more security in the port.
The minister said that given that Durrës Port is the biggest in the country, there are present several authorities like the Port Authorities, the State Police, Food Safety Authority, the Customs and other structures that make far more complex management of this Port as an entity.
Hence, Lleshaj emphasized the need of the Port functioning as an integrated entity.
The minister also spoke about the need of improvement of the standards during functioning of the all the institutions in the Port./p.s./
