TIRANA, March 14 /ATA/ – Mainly cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers will prevail over the whole territory of Albania on Thursday.
The Military Meteorological Service said that the rainfall is likely to resume and intensify during the course of the afternoon.
Sporadic rain is expected to fall throughout the day, whereas snowfall is expected across much of north-eastern and eastern Albania at elevations over 300-400 meters above the sea level and across south and south-eastern parts at elevations over 500-600 meters.
The rain and snowfall are expected to stop across whole territory of the country in the evening.
Southerly winds will blow at a speed of 2 to 15 m/s, mainly along the coastline.
