TIRANA, March 13/ATA/-Albania’s Minister of Tourism and Environment Blendi Klosi held a conversation today with students of the hotel management branch at the vocational high school “Beqir Çela” in Durrës.
The reform in the vocational education is one of the most successful ones undertaken by Rama government. It offers a real opportunity of employment. The hoteliers complain of having just a small number of qualified people and they need to employ young people to serve not only during the tourist season, but all year round.
« The hoteliers are concerned of the upcoming tourist season. They are offering work contracts not just for 45 days, but even for 6 and 7 months while looking for qualified people. And they are paid even better than a lawyer or economist in the state administration”, said Minister Klosi.
According to Klosi, it is a fact that people who have got a diploma from a vocational education school can certainly find a job. Therefore, he called on the young people and the parents to orient the children to attend the hotel management branch of the vocational school because they will get a job of a better pay.
Following the conversation with the pupils, Minister Klosi inspected the works on building the proper infrastructure capacity of the “Beqir Çela” school, so that it can host more pupils in the coming years./a.a/j.p/p.s./
