TIRANA, July 29 / ATA-Gjergji Mima / – There are currently more than 400 Turkish companies operating in Albania in the energy, mining, telecommunications, textiles and clothing, banking, logistics and health sector.
The number of employees in the Turkish companies is more than 15 000 people.
The Turkish Ambassador in Tirana, Murat Ahmet Yörük, during an interview for the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) stated that, “economic and trade relations between the two countries occupy an important place in terms of bilateral relations”.
“The investment of the Turkish companies operating in Albania totals $ 3 billion. While our trading volume in 2017 was about $ 450 million,” the Turkish Ambassador in Tirana Yörük said.
