TIRANA, July 23/ATA/-Judge of Tirana Court Astrit Faqolli appeared before the Independent Qualification Committee gathered in a hearing session on Monday focused on three criteria of the vetting process, i.e. cleanness of his figure, wealth and professional skills.
The judge appeared in session together with his lawyer Julian Mërtiri. While the jury was composed by Firdes Shuli, Roland Ilia and Genta Tafa.
Following investigation, the Independent Qualification Committee found out incompatibility between the statements of the judge in 2006 and the vetting findings regarding an area of 32 square meter land in Librazhd, and an 83 square meter apartment in Tirana.
The Directorate of Classified Information has already presented a report which concludes the judge is not suitable of continuing to hold his post./j.p/p.s./
