TIRANA, July 21/ATA/- The Holy Apostles’ Church in Hoshtevë, Gjirokastër County, is undergoing restoration work.
The church is a monument of culture in need of maintenance and restoration so that to display more the history and values it carries.
The Holy Apostles’ Church is a post-Byzantine church of basilica type with arches.
The restoration project has been drafted by specialists of the Institute of Monuments of Culture and envisages restoration of the existing roof with slabs, new electric installations and intervention into the mural paintings and wood iconostasis./a.a/ j.p/p.s./
